The meals served are complete with appetizer, salad, entree, and, of course, dessert, and hushpuppies. Many famous Texans stayed at the Stagecoach Inn, including Sam Houston in January, 1861, at which time Houston gave a speech opposing joining the confederacy. The hotel register with all the famous names was stolen in 1944.
